The work of ensuring that the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act is carried out with the highest standards of transparency and accountability is an enormous government-wide effort. To ensure these principles are upheld in every part of government, the Office of Management and Budget today released the first installment of guidance to Federal agencies for carrying out programs and activities enacted in the recovery plan.
